Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cups Rice Krispies
- 2 cups chopped dates
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
- Melt butter and sugar over low heat. Add dates; cook and stir until it boils.
- Remove from heat. Add milk, salt and beaten eggs.
- Stir; return to stove. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat;
- add vanilla, cereal and nuts. Cool to lukewarm temperature.
- Roll into balls, and roll the balls in coconut (my dad rolls them in powered sugar sometimes
