That was the first sentence of a status my sister in law posted a few hours ago
Yup, thats right. Brian was going to head to Framingham today to watch the Boston Marathon. Thats where his family lives and also a city where the runners run through. This has been a tradition for Brian and his sister forever. He actually informed me today that he was thinking about taking the train to the finish line...so glad he didnt go! I have been twice with him and its awesome to watch. Cheering everyone on and seeing how determined they are to finish. The wheelchair people are wonderful too! Today is a gorgeous day. Sun out, warm and just perfect. Unfortunately it hasnt ended perfect. So many prayers are going out Boston and all of the people who have passed away and are injured. And also to all the families who had to rush to a hospital to meet their loved ones instead of the place that had planned.
We live 45 minutes away but its still scary. I have many friends, and a few bloggy ones, who live around the Boston area and suburbs of there. For my in person friends, they are safe. For my bloggy ones, I hope you are all safe too.
Although none of us have met, I seriously love you all!!

Glad you are all safe!
Everything happens for a reason.
So glad you are all safe. So hard to hear about yesterday.

Every time I read something like this, I tear up. God works in so many ways, even among tragedy. You are very blessed that everyone you know is okay, and I am so glad they are all safe.
Also, thanks for the wedding advice on the blog today. Much appreciated :) Happy Tuesday, love! xoxo
